Fretta Contest Winners
Congratulations to all the winners. Well done to everyone that took part, we had a lot of fun testing your gamemodes. If you didn't win - stay in contact and keep working - we might end up shipping your gamemode anyway :)
1st:: Trouble In Terrorist Town
The polish and depth of this gamemode intrigued us so much that we ended up spending quite a few hours on it.
The game seems simple. Everyone in the server is a terrorist. A few of them are traitors. It's the traitors job to kill all the other non-traitors without anyone finding out. Everyone else has to find out who the traitor is and kill them. It SEEMS simple. It's not. $5,000 backstabbing its way to the makers of this gamemode.
2nd: Zinger
Is this still GMod? Is this still Source? Two questions running through your head when you first start playing Zinger.
It's golf... with rocket launchers. Beautiful and cartoony, the aim of the game is to make your balls go through all the rings. You're in teams, so there's room for some strategy as you all dash off to get the rings. Crates with weapons and power ups appear periodically, which can lead to some hilarity. $2,000 swinging its way to the Zinger team.
3rd: Dog Fight
Ambitious. Very ambitious. That sums up Dog Fight. And it's really paid off.
Two teams battle to fuel up their rocket. Your mission is to fly to the other team's base, steal their fuel and bring it back to your rocket. Obviously, they're not too happy about that. $1,000 flying over to the creators of Dog Fight.
4th: Prop Hunt 2
Did that phone just move? Did that plant just swear at me? Probably, if you're playing Prop Hunt.
In Prop Hunt 2 there's two teams. One team have to disguise themselves as a prop somewhere in the map, and the other team have to find them. This sounds easy. It's not. The seekers can't go around shooting everything they suspect as they lose health for every wrong choice. $1,000 disguised as a cheque winging its way to the creators!
5th: Ascension
 Cute, 2D team based race to the top.
This simple, easy to play gamemode is exactly the kind of thing we were looking for when we envisioned the Fretta contest. The aim of the game is to get to the top, but you've got to bring your team-mates with you. This is accomplished by stacking crates on top of each other, then climbing over them to reach the next level. $1,000 falling into the lap of the creators of this gamemode!
